Nothing means more to me than hearing how TerraSassa puppies have become cherished members of their families. Here are a few words from TerraSassa owners about their experience, their dogs, and life after bringing home a TerraSassa French Bulldog.
Lisa • Remi & Rocco
One of the greatest compliments a breeder can receive is when a family returns for a second puppy. Lisa welcomed Remi into her family first and later returned to TerraSassa for Rocco.

What Made You Choose a TerraSassa Puppy?
“Sally’s puppies were all so beautiful! My husband and I were looking for a female pied French Bulldog, and she had one. It worked out beautifully.”
How Was Your Experience Working With TerraSassa?
“Working with Sally was a seamless process from start to finish. What we found unique and promising is that she wants to ensure that her puppies are going to safe and appropriate homes. The care and love she has for her puppies continues well after your puppy has integrated into your family.”
What Are Remi and Rocco Like?
“Both Remi and Rocco have outstanding personalities. Both are very sweet and kind-natured, but they each have their distinct personalities. Remi is tempered but can be very mischievous if she is not the center of attention. Rocco gets easily excited but is an absolute snuggle bug. They get along famously and they’re besties!”
How Did Your Puppies Adjust to Their New Home?
“Both puppies adjusted very well to our home. Sally’s recommendations and guidance went a long way when Remi first arrived and then when adjusting to Rocco, the baby brother. I followed all of her directions to a T, and it could not have gone better.”
Would You Recommend TerraSassa French Bulldogs?
“I ONLY recommend TerraSassa if anyone even mentions they want a French Bulldog! Then I proceed to show them all of my pictures!”
How Have Your Dogs Turned Out?
Both Remi and Rocco are healthy dogs. They get along well with each other and anyone who comes in to the house. Rocco gets overstimulated but with training he is calming down. The Vet I use compliments them all the time in terms of how beautiful they are, how amazing their dispositions are, and their overall health.
Ingrid • Maggie & Oskar

After welcoming Maggie into her family, Ingrid later returned to TerraSassa for a second puppy, Oskar. Her experience spans nearly three years and provides a unique perspective on temperament, health, breeder support, and daily life with two TerraSassa French Bulldogs.
How did I find TerraSassa French Bulldogs
I already had 2 Frenchies. I love their personalities, and their clownish ways. So, I wanted another one but really wanted a red fawn female this time and had been looking for some time. I spoke to some breeders, but if they didn’t have a red fawn, or a female, some tried talking me into something I wasn’t looking for. After a year of looking, I gave up. Then one evening I was just looking at Frenchies in general. I looked on AKC Marketplace where I found TerraSassa French Bulldogs. There was a red fawn female available, so I reached out to ask about the puppy, and spoke with Sally. I learned she was a show breeder, which means she breeds to better the breed and keep a puppy back to show. She also does the testing on her breeding parents necessary to ensure the healthiest and most sound pups. I also found we had many similarities with how we raised our puppies/dogs. I was in the pet industry, in distribution for more than 25 yrs and bred German Shepherds prior to that, so TerraSassa French Bulldogs was the breeder I was looking for.
Working with Sally to get my puppy was so easy. Sally sent me pictures of the pup’s sire, who is absolutely stunning. I then asked if I could come by to see the puppy, her mother and father. When I met the pup, then both parents, and they were so bouncy and happy, and gorgeous, that was it. I gave Sally a deposit and made arrangements to pick her up in a few days. When I picked her up, Sally went over the contract with me. It was straight forward and the entire process was easy.
Maggie, my first TerraSassa pup came into my home as though she had always been there. Sally had exposed her puppies to many different textures, sounds, etc. so nothing really phased her. If she did see something completely new, she didn’t react negatively. She would investigate it then all was good. She was always playing with my other Frenchies and being goofy and silly as Frenchies should be. Then in the evenings, she curls up on my lap. I was fortunate enough to be able to take Maggie to work with me since I was in the pet industry, seeing retailers. She went into every one of my accounts with me for about 8 months. She handled it like a pro. Even the elevator at hotels…. no problem. Very steady temperament.
Maggie is now almost 3yrs old and so sweet, and honestly just doesn’t get into trouble. I have never had to tell her ‘no’ to anything more than once. She is such a joy! I had kept in touch with Sally while Maggie was growing up and learned she had another female, a piebald girl out of a super stunning male in Europe and Sally was planning to breed her to Maggie’s sire. Well, that was a no brainer. Maggie’s dad produces such great personalities, and sweet pups, I had to have a piebald puppy if there were any in the litter. My wish came true. I recently got a male red fawn piebald puppy, Oskar. Again, Oskar is a joy. The day I picked him up he ran around my backyard like he had always been there. He immediately initiated play with my other Frenchies and at that, he was a member of the family. He is 6 months old now and super sweet and well behaved. He has just as great a personality and temperament as Maggie. He also does not need to be told not to do something more than once. I could not be happier with my ‘kids’. I love them to death.
I would highly recommend TerraSassa French Bulldogs to anyone looking for a well-bred, great temperamented French Bulldog. Sally does it right and is there for me if I have any questions or concerns…even years out. She doesn’t have 10 litters a year. She does the testing, breeds to improve the breed, and she does not breed the so called ‘rare / exotic’ colors. Beware of any breeder that breeds them. These are not natural colors for French Bulldogs, and you will not only pay waaay more than from a show breeder (double and triple) and they could likely have health issues. TerraSassa French Bulldogs is honest and ethical. I’m getting older, but I would buy another Frenchie from Sally. Let’s see how the next year goes….maybe??
